A Day in the Hills
These are some of the foothills and eastern slopes of the southern Kananaskis area in south west Alberta. This is the high point summit on the Cat Creek Hills loop hike. The view looks essentially south west. Although I had done this hike twice before, this was the first time I had actually made the effort to attain this pleasant spot. In terms of altitude, this is a very minor summit, barely at tree line. Nevertheless, a rewarding goal for the day.
