The Mists of Paradise

The Mists of Paradise

I guess one has to be just a little crazy to walk around in the misty rain for five hours. Be that as it may, it was one of the most rewarding photo outings I've ever had. I found a new respect for inclement weather photography. The colours dramatically increase, there is little or no wind, and best of all, few if any other people. Having said that, I was quite surprised at how many others were as crazy as me. Paradise Meadows is located on Mt. Washington, Vancouver Island. Usually swarming with avid hikers and sight-see-ers at this time of year, Fall, there were just a pleasant few.
