Closing the year
A great way to end the year. This is the summit area of Prairie Mtn. near Calgary. The date is December 31, 2015. Blessed with congenial temperatures, what better way to bid farewell to the old year. The mountain on the right is Moose Mountain, the closest true "Rocky Mountain" to Calgary. It hosts one of the few remaining manned fire lookouts, responsible for over 5000 sq. Km's of forest.
