A corner of Winter
Although I don't enjoy dealing with the cold, winter brings more opportunities for photography in certain locations that do not exist at any other time. Such is the case for an easily accessible park near my home. I have photographed this particular scene on several occasions in winter. Each one is different as the ice never forms the same way twice. The river is usually open at this point but as winter draws on, the ice wins and by February has managed to close in completely.
