A pleasant stroll at any time of the year, Larch Island Trail in the town of Canmore, Alberta, offers fair views in several locations along the approx. 2 1/2 Km loop. The Bow River forms the boundary for much of the trail. Here, water from the Bow is filling an otherwise dried out creek bed. Spring is not far away, snow is receding on the Three Sisters, the season is changing.
