As a matter of fact, No. The colour has not been emphasized, added to, exaggerated or the like. Actually, the colour, or some of its saturation, has been subtracted. Very difficult dealing with back light sometimes. The contrast ratio can be extremely high, as it was in this case. I could have used certain techniques to tame this picture, but decide to let the contrast stay high, thus creating a rather dark background, simply because, to me, it is the way it looked.
