Cannon Beach
Now and then, conditions come together to provide just the right kind of light for the scene at hand. This was a day of continuous showers, driven in off the Pacific ocean. Between showers, the sun would shine while the rain clouds were pushed up against the coastal mountains. From Ecola state park, this somber image was recorded as the sun lit up the foreground while the storm clouds hung heavy in the hills.
