Veronica Whitley

Believed to be “Veronica Whitley” by name, and the Speedwell variety.
During its early spring blooming, the small flowers are very sweet. Somewhat resemblant of a Forgetmenot but with more character. They are quite enchanting. This one kept me occupied for several hours (on different occasions) trying to obtain the perfect composition. Well, things are never perfect, but this group of exposures served well enough. Depth of field very shallow at this magnification. The result is pleasant enough. A decent Covid escape.

Several exposures processed as a stack.
