Although we all want wood and the products that are made from it, I always feel a little sad when I see scenes like this. Cut many years ago, It would be exciting to see more untouched old forest, but there is little chance of that nowadays. At the same time, it is amazing to see how the old tree stumps become the nursery for new growth trees.
