Begonia & Friends

I have a great fondness for Begonias. To me they are usually more appealing than roses. This young specimen was one of thousands seen during a recent visit to Butchart Gardens on Vancouver Island. I often remember being told by my mother, about a visit to a nursery by my mother and father when looking for some Begonias for their garden. With a big grin, my Dad called to my Mother (loud, so all could hear), "hey, there's a big 'un 'ere!
