Rumours of Grandeur
The trail up from Lake Louise to the Saddleback is one of many poular hikes in Banff National Park. The photograph was originally taken in the late 1980's on Kodachrome slide film. More recently, the image required considerable "massaging" to coax detail from the very high contrast captured at the time. I feel the conversion to B&W has increased the drama.
