It could even be the same Gray Heron that appears in the other photograph shown in this gallery. I was able to shoot several frames of this bird during the evening. Typically sensitive of my presence, it kept moving, flying from one spot to another. I kept moving too. It was pure luck that it decided to stop on this rock for as long as it did, just as the light became golden.
