A Promise for Tomorrow
The road winding to the top of Mt. Maxwell, on Saltspring Island, B.C., is to say the least: Rough. Although not absolutely necessary, a 4 wheel drive is a great help. The effort was worth while, it would seem, although I had no idea the day would yield a sunset such as this when I started up. There is a small Provincial park at the top. I was alone with only about 20 minutes before dark. Needless to say, I was busy!
