Tonic for the Soul
The hike to this vantage point is not without a certain degree of huff and puff! But few hikes offer such views as available on this one, for such a relatively short distance. At 750m elevation gain, King Creek Ridge (foreground) is a popular hike in Kananaskis Country, Alberta. The summit cairn is just out of frame on the left. The view never fails to amaze, with an equally grand broad valley view to the right of what is seen here that includes the two main Kananaskis Lakes.
